I have been using VoiceThread for almost a year now in my classes. I was introduced to it at the NAMLE conference last summer and it has become an tool I use with my students.
Here is the link to a VoiceThread created for my Graphics 2 class. The assignment required each student to perform a photo manipulation of some kind and to create a VT for it. They then got into groups and viewed and commented on the work. For this assignment the objective of using VT was more to allow them to showcase their work and see others input!
Today my Web Design Class began the unit on Web 2.0 applications. I choose this timing because of the start of this new course. As an introduction to themselves, we all created Vokis. As a class we had a great time exploring this application and it really let me see something about my students in what they chose.
This weekend was prom so in order to have everyone express themselves, we created Wordles in class. Here is a Wordle for me. This was created at www.wordle.net.
